Had turkey and salad...tons of salad cream, big mug of tea, Mars bar and some sweets..!!
It's the post Christmas seafood diet...When you see food, you eat it!!!
Why is getting back to work after the Christmas break so HARD???
Getting up at 6.50am is killing me already. Think there's still too much blood in my alchohol.
Anyone else still fancy a few pints at lunchtime....but you know you can't!!!
Hope you all had a great time anyway.....

PB&J.
I have a beer at lunch... It's allowable, as long as I am not at my desk in the office. :D
When I work from home? Sure, I will lift while while at lunch. When I go out to eat, with or without the bosses... I still lift one.
One a business trip, my boss and I went out drinking on several occasions!
I suppose that as long as I am not buzzed or intoxicated which I am on the clock, I am ok.
But, I too find it hard to go back. I had off a week and a half, only going into work the tuesday between Christmas and New Years, and was off Monday. My sleep patterns were all thrown off too, which makes matter worse. I was sleeping in until 10am sometimes... Now waking up to go to work, oy vey!
Peace,
Aldwyn

Scampi, chips & peas. Missed the canteen at work so had to go to Debenhams.
Amazing how many people are still off work. Suspect there will be traffic jams everywhere on Monday.
BTW Rob, it was the 5th in Telford yesterday. Didn't know Liverpool was across the dateline

Subway Turkey on wheat. (starting the program with going healthier on what i do eat first).
Nah, I don't care to have a pint at lunch. Work can be sortof a pressure cooker, and I need to be on top of my game.

Chicken Club on Wheat and a Lipton.
I had 6 days off and could have used another 6.

I had not much at all to eat - I'm so hungry now, I could eat a scabby horse between two mattresses.
I'm having a mare getting up - was late one morning by a bit, but made up by adding a bit and a half onto the end of my day. I'm suffering from '5 more minutes syndrome'. Didn't drink much beer at all over Xmas and could easily not bother at all.

Funny, here in America, the 6th of January falls on a Friday :)
No lunch yet.
But I'm with you, going back to work after any kind of time off sucks.
Especially in the winter.

You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time
Congratulations on the award Rob, I'm sure you deserve it. Let's see the pics of the event.
I don't think Abraham Lincoln said that, Reardon. You made that up. I think it was P.T. Barnum. I made that up.
Congratulations, Rob - I think you should insist that the Queen give you the award Herself. Is she that busy? What, playing mahjong with Camilla?

Don't confuse the issue with those stupid links.
I couldn't sleep last night and decided H.L. Mencken said it.

That's fine by me. Deny the existence of numerous exalted historians. I'll go with the chap Mencken, whoever he is
