Two peices of bologna, and two peices of cheese rolled up. To busy working today to eat anything else! :(

I am with you... and I get frazzled in the friggin parking lot!

That is why I do all my shopping online, and have done that the last few years. Makes life easy... sooo easy....

I have a social phobia in that I hate crowds... malls especially. I cant go in them this time of year. Cant handle it!

God bless the Internet shopping sites.

Just a few christmas cookies right now...

Well, I was shocked two days ago when I had to do some errands in the city - folks ar completely NUTS ! And this although everyone is complaining about the state robbing their last money...
I´ve done christmas shopping in the past, and never felt it was so overstuffed in all the stores. Glad I chose not to give any presents this year....

Samosas, bhagis, bombay mix, chicken and turkey Indian style. All brought in by some of my work colleagues. Really nice touch - and it's not even their religion. Minced pies for afters.

I went down about 2 weeks ago and it was too much. Haven't really done much shopping at all and haven't let it get to me. It's total madness. Going to enjoy Christmas for what it's supposed to be for and not what it has become. Online is ok up to a point, but everybody gets cd's and dvd's then. For the most part, it's been 'oh don't worry about a present' in a mutual way. As long as I get to spend time with my family and show them I care about them, we're all happy.

I'm with Aldwyn... I've been doing my Christmas shopping online for the most part for the last two years. The only things I buy in the brick-and-mortar stores are things that I 've bought back in November, some Star Wars figurines for the nephew, a goofy alarm clock from The Sharper Image store near here. Everything else came from Amazon.com and American Girl dolls website for the kids. Liquor for Gram bought locally. Mom doesn't celebrate much and won't accept gifts. Oh, well.

Gift to myself is asking all my friends and relatives to give gift certificates to a local music store about 40 minutes away. That way, I get to pick what I want. (Mackie mixer, yeah!) That's the first step towards my ideal home music recording studio....

I know what a PITA shopping can be during the year, never mind the holidays! If you're gonna shop, do it early, don't try to get the absolute best deal at the last minute. It'll save your sanity if you shop early in stores, and online as well. :)

Oh, for lunch, the tuna-fish sandwich Menelaos gave me, and a bag of chips...:p
