A few weeks ago I was given the weekend starting Thursday 11 March as the dates for the prize trip to see the factory.

Anyone in the area up for a jam, pizza, guitar store pilgrimage etc???

Hi Rog,
I'm delighted to say that I'm coming too! It would be great to see a couple of great local (or even big name) bands in the MA area. What's happening that weekend guys? Please recommend bars/restaurants etc.
Regards to all ex PRS Forum friends and all new BAM friends to be.
Julian Carter.

Hi julian
Thats great news. Perhaps you can fill me in on some details - things seem rather vague at the moment!
Cheers

As it happens ...... I'm probably going late March 'ish'. 2nd pilgramige for me! Missed the factory tour last time; so hope to catch it this time. Went to the forum talk though. I'll be staying Nearer the DC area / Potomac. Best places are Chesapeke bay, I liked Baltimore - try the MD blue crabs!! ...hope to make a baseball game (Orioles .. though they don't start till April) , WMC and Southworth guitars is definately worth a visit in the DC area. Shopping is good and all museums are free. As far as bars, made a few that were o.k.

Rog,
Perhaps I've missed something here but what is this "prize trip" you are referring to?

Well, a belated congratulations!

As you know, Gary and I went to the last forum in Annapolis and ColinP was there the year before. If there is anything you'd like to know (from a Brit perspective) then get in touch.

The factory tour is very good. There are a real bunch of characters there!

Whilst in the area you should visit Brian the pusher at WMC. Also Garrett Park is worth a visit. But watch out, you'll be coming back with excess baggage.

Nice as the thought is of coming back with "another", unless I win the Lottery this time I'm going on a look but don't touch basis:( . I will make sure I have a good look though!

If you go to Garrett Park make sure you check out the Rams Head Tavern, they brew their own Forham Ale and Stout.

Hi guys,

Hope you have a wonderful time - see if you can scrounge something for the UK meet - banner would be nice - hard to get and expensive!! - free guitar to auction would be perfect!! hahaha - well if you don't ask......

I can arrange photos to be shown on a big screen too!!
Cheers,
Rob

Don't know what your schedule is like but would love to get together...maybe some of the "locals" could take you out for some of the Eastern Shore's best....

Thanks Carl,
Sounds like a good idea. Is that best food/drink/music? It would be great to see a band or two.
Regards,
Julian Carter.
