It has been a hectic six months for me, but I am finally coming to the end of my cross country move. As some of you may know I moved from South Florida to Southeast Michigan. I am just finishing up remodeling our new house. We have basically redone just about the entire house. We did all of the bathrooms, new carpet, new paint, lights, doors, even took the family room down to the studs, and re-drywalled it. I am still working on finishing the basement, but that is going to have to be done over time. I spent about five months at the in-laws, that was "fun". Overall I am glad that things a settling down for me and I can get to some more important things, like guitars!!!! I have picked up quite a few over the last six months.

Here are a couple pics of some of the remodeling we did. I am very happy with the way things turned out!

It just came in this week, so it will hopefully be done in the near future. I am just tapped out on home-improvement right now!:p

I wish that was my basement!! It would mean I am close to being finished!! We bought a quad level house, so there is a lower level. Right now it is all studded out just waiting for drywall.

I also wish it were a studio. I am actually planning on soundproofing the basement, and bringing in a drumset, and the whole works. It should be pretty cool.:dude:

Good to see ya again. Been wondering where you dissappeared to. Michigan? You probably went right thru TN and didn't stop by? ;)

I'll be heading back to Grand Rapids mid August for the British V8 Convention.

Welcome back, Darren. South Florida's loss.

Congrats on the new house, and good luck with all the remodelling.

Allan.
