Simple Humbucker Question

Hi All. First time poster here, posted on the old PRS forum under the same name a couple of times. Could anyone here please tell me which way the Factory humbuckers( vintage bass/neck and hfs/briddge) on my '97 custom 24 should be installed? I had SD pups installed at the local PRS dealer about a year ago and did not remove them myself. Are the sides with the crews supposed to be neck and bridge, like the SD'S were? Or are they bridge and center of guitar( for the neck pup?). I know it seems like a really stupid question, but looking at the cavity, wire holes on the right, then looking at the pups, wires to the right, it looks like they should be installed this way.If I install them like the SD's The neck pup wire has to run under the pup. Screw towards the tuners for the neck, and towards the bridge for the treble pup.

BUT you can get some cool tones by going the other way on the neck pup. Seems to treble up the tone a bit. Course, if you have the 5 way, this will throw off the split positions.
