So, let's talk about nuts!!

Just wondering if anyone has ever changed the nut on a PRS?

If so, what material and how did it affect the sound?

And personally, I prefer lightly salted cashews!:)

I'm a cashew person myself...although I also love macadamia nuts also.

Never changed the nut on a PRS, however did have a brass nut on a Gordon Smith. Did add something to the sound, but not really to my liking, so sold the GS.

I believe the nut only affects the tones of open strings. It will not change how fretted notes sound. Correct me if i'm wrong.
