In Sheryl's above titled song, during the opening strumming what chords are being played?
It's a group of G based chords but I can't figure out what???
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I'm pretty sure it's played in 'Open G' tuning. Like 'Keef' uses...

Hi James; I don't think so. I was watching both her and Peter Stroud on TV the other night and she was playing Std formed open chords throughout the song. When they got to that series of G chords they were playing the "Old school" open G and were moving finger 2 from A string to D string. It was not the AC/DC G5 either. I can't for the life of me get those notes.
Maybe you are correct after all!!! :>)

I think it's in standard tuning and the way I figured it out was:
strum a G chord like this, emphasizing the low G on the 6th string on first strum:
string/fret
E--3
B--3
G--open
D--open
A--2
E--3
Then the C chord while keeping the B and E strings fretted:
E--3
B--3
G--open
D--2
A--3
E--x [not played]
From this chord shape, move only your index finger to move from the E note on the second fret of the D string to the A note on the second fret of the G string, to the open G string and back to the E note on the D string, then the open D string.
Hard to explain, but if you listen to the track to get a feel for the strums and the notes, you might be able to pick it out from my description!:)
I play it something like this, excuse the tab, I don't really know how to write it. :)
E|----3--3------------
B|----0--1------------
G|----0--2--2-p0----0
D|----0--0--------2---
A|----2--x------------
E|-3--3--3------------
WayHay, the code code works. :)
