If you've got a favorite website for lessons and online
reference, please post a link. Mine is MoneyChords.com.

Power Tab Archive - one of the most impressive databases of tab on the planet. Rating system helps separate the wheat from the chaff. The software to run it is free.

I found an interesting scale and chord reference. It's part of the "A Passion for Jazz" website.
Although a keyboard is displayed, all of the notes in the applicable scale or chord are also shown.

this may have been posted at the old Birds & Moons or at The Gear Page:

a quick "quiz" game to help in memorizing the notes on the fretboard - it is also addictive which is a very good thing!

also the main site itself is very good

:)

WARNING:

thanks for posting that link for free guitar tabs. But I need to point out that the ads on the site are X-rated, though of course this may not bother all that many! For example I looked up "cryin waiting hoping" by Buddy Holly.

http://www.myguitartabs.com/showsong.php?artist=buddy%20holly&tab=cryingwaitinghoping.txt&song=Tabs/Guitar/buddy%20holly/cryingwaitinghoping.txt
don't look if you don't want to see these ads

(I also think the tab has the wrong chords or is in the wrong key) I'm trying to figure out the version the Beatles play in the "Live at the BBC" album, disc one - George on vocals. Great solo on that one.

I also recommend this website for guitar tabs, it's updated every few days:

http://www.guitartabs.cc/home.php (Guitar Tab Universe)

thanks for posting all your sites, really like that jazz theory site posted by RandyO.

I quite like http://ibreathemusic.com/

They've got some good lessons, but the forum is no way as good as this place :D
