Cheese and tomato sanwiches.

Been getting some exercise in lately - running, power walking, cycling. Meaning to join a gym, but when the weather is good, the last place you want to be is inside looking at all that lycra.

What do you do for exercise - if at all? If not, what's the closest you get to it?

No lunch yet, too early! But to the topic, I play soccer on team Anatolia United, a division II team in Folsom's adult mens league.

Me neither! Bout to grab breakfast.

I've been really bad about exercising. Haven't been. Need to get off my fat arse and start walking at least.

Roast Beef, Yorkshire pudding and vegetables in our canteen at Telford.

I used to do a fair bit of running, to try and maintain my perfect body. ;) Unfortunately these days, I don't seem to have much time. I hate gyms, preferring to do 'proper' running, not the sort on a machine. I also think machines often cause injuries because people tend to leave them on a steady rate. Much prefer the wind in my face, the rain on my body and the glorious fresh air.
I really need to manage my time better and get out there on the country footpaths again.

Haven't had lunch yet. Brought Hot Pockets to work.

About the only exercise I get nowadays is loading in and out for gigs. Also been walking to work on occasion(about .5 mi).

Two hot dogs with bar-b-que sacue... no buns. I ran out.

I don't really do any exercise.... well, other then sex, masturbation, or lifting a beer bottle to my lips.

Who has time for other exercise?

Peace,
Aldwyn

If you do those things properly, you don't need any other exercise... :p

P.S. Turkey & Cheese, no bread...

Which is why I mentioned them! :)

sliced baguette, toasted with havarti & dill; pickles; unusually for me, a coke.

All consumed in great haste as I had better things to do: play my new Benedetto Bravo, which just arrived this morning. My lunch hour was WAY too short.

exercise? huh?

While I'm badly in need of more exercise and less consumption, I'm not a complete schlub. I walk. I play tennis with my GF, at least when she's around. And yeah, I engage in Aldwyn's activities too, although my beer consumption is way down relative to, say, wine, margaritas, and/or martinis.

In fact, I'm off now to go play tennis with my GF. Ta-ta!

Steak Sandwich (slices of last night's dinner.)
I work out three times a week and climb rocks and swim and things like that when I have the chance. And I have a daughter nearing 3.:D

Tin of tuna, two apples and a banana :(

Having lost two stone recently and put it ALL back on I'm trying again.
Time is such an issue, I really wish I could run then instead of going out for an hours walk I could do a twenty minute run and not eat into my evening so much.

Ham and Coleslaw sub.

I walk from Kings Cross to Whitehall rather than tube it, and am a member of the gym in our building. I have not been to it once in a year. It is shocking. I used to do loads of training but just can't seem to get interested these days. BGG - I feel your pain!

Polish Sausages and Macaroni & Cheese.

You wouldn't know by my lunch, but I do work out. I usually do about 20 minutes on the Elliptical trainer followed by a 2000 meter row. However, the last few weeks of school, we played a lot of kickball. What a blast!

Yesterday I had a Wegman's hoagie: spicy ham, swiss cheese, lettuce, hot peppers, oil and vineagar, spicy mustard, whole wheat roll. Today I had the same thing.

Used to. Get used to seeing the phrase "used to". Anyway...

I used to ride a mountain bike with slicks 100 miles per week, 80 of those on the weekends. I would fill in during the week with a treadmill or Nordictrak. Bike riding, once you get in shape, does not take weight off - at least, it didn't for me.

Anyway, 2 years ago I stopped doing all of this due to some excellent rationalizations that I'll be happy to supply upon request.

Now I get winded when I have to tune down to 'D'.

-JohnROTFLMAO!!

We had a guy I worked for who we called "Wenn Eye" - he started everything with "When I was.. (fill in important position previously held)".

I guess we're "You's 2s"!

ps - rationalisations would be much appreciated. Excuses would be even better!

Yesterday, I had an Arby's Beef'n'Cheddar combo with a couple of Cokes.

The short answer is: mostly walking, some swimming

I have to get into an exercise rountine. I spend the majority of the weekdays sitting right in front of my PC, wasting away, yet getting bigger along the way (see my history of lunches here for one of the reasons).

One night a week, during the months when the grass needs to be mowed, I get some exercise. It's less than it was now that I have a riding lawn mower. So now it's really more like a sweat-a-thon, but you get the picture. During the weekends, it's hit or miss. If we get outside, I play with the kids in our yard and/or get to a pool with the family.
