Hi guys and gals

I've not been around since before christmas as I've been putting in a new central heating system, a new kitchen, a new bathroom and a complete rewire into Ripcom Towers.

Lost a bass player, found a bass player. Our other guitarist nearly lost a thumb in a strange unwrapping a bike accident. My youngest son is 2 years old this weekend and I'm just about to turn 41.

So what have I missed.

BAM formed and came on line. BAM went down for a little while. Some people posted about a new forum and it got nasty. I fermented a few new batch of beers. Mott the Hoople has still not regrouped. Welcome back Ripcom.

Not hijack the thread, but what did you brew? I just started five gallons of German style Pilsner this week. Hopefully I'll get ten gallons of IPA made tomorrow. We have a big summer solstice party last year we went though 15 gallons in about three hours :eek: !! I'm thinking I may need to get another keg and brew 20 gallons this year!!!

Dash, I made a brown ale and for the first time a smoked porter. I smoked the grains in my smoker. Not a bad ale, but it's hard to keep it lit ;)
