I have just had a wonderful weekend, went to the beach, had a swim and a great jam and then dinner with mates.

Monday lunch with my dear wife was at a new pasta shop. She had tortalini with a cream, mushroom and ham sauce and I inhaled a Vienna Schnitzel with cheese and neapolitan sauce, nice crusty bread roll and we both enjoyed a chinotto each.

It is winter here in Australia and we have just had another lovely day with a temp of 23C.

Topic today. Sports Cars

As a youngster my dad had a couple of jags and daimlers, and ended up with a Humber. But I always remained faithful to one car, my dream sports car would be a Daimler SP250. What would yours be?

Protein shake (whey, yogurt, milk, raspberries) and a steak salad with romaine lettuce, sirloin, spice, and burgundy viniagrette. Raspberry iced-tea.

I tend to think within the approachable sports car (cost-wise) that still looks good, is relatively reliable and still can get me where I need to go fairly quickly.

Mazda Miata, silver paint and red leather (yellow leather? heh-heh) interior, 5-speed. Sorry, I don't have pics handy, but you get the idea.....

Don't have a pic, but the one Mel Gibson drives at the end of Mad Max I and the road warrior. A V8 interceptor?
