Well, I guess I'll take one.
Lunch: Beef Pho soup
Query: How many of you have hit a point of stasis in your guitar quest?
I've played the same two guitars for over a year and now doubt they will be replaced with anything else in the next few years, anyhoo...

Lunch: Left over chicken
My last purchase was last month in the form of my SAS. With this guitar, I feel like I'm completely satisfied since I now have most of the tones I'm looking for. My wife made the remark every BAMMer dreads to hear: 'You spend more time looking at guitars you don't have than playing the ones you have!' Even though I have GAS pains for a Lester... I think I'm going to enjoy the stable of guitars I have for now.
amps though are another story....

Leftover Pad Thai Chicken. Mmmm, yummy.:)
I think I'm nearing a point of stasis. I don't buy very often and I keep what I buy. Just ordered my third amp, so I have all the variety I need there. I only need two more electric guitars to be able to cover any tone I want. Then I just need a good acoustic. Then I honestly, truly think I'm done with big-time gear acquisitions, which will be very good because we'll be having kids in a couple years.
But if I get to be a big-time touring guitarist I'll want to pick up a couple duplicates to have as back ups. And that's obviously a way outside chance...

I had the same old fruit, cottage cheese and munchies at my desk that I often eat for lunch.
My gear lust ebbs and flows. When life gets busy, as it has been recently, I am hardly finding time to even play as much as I would like.....However, I still think that I have reached the saturation point with all of my guitars. In fact, I may even thin the herd.
BUT, I had a amp lust last spring and while I was "in heat" I ordered another amp ....But, I just got an email today that my new Valvetech amp was shipped (http://valvetechampliers.com (http://valvetechampliers.com/)) ....I ordered it about three months ago, but Rob at Valvetech has a big backlog.
So, I will soon have too many amps too!!!
I had a hoagie with turkey, American cheese and mayonaisse. We had a bunch of kids over, my wife bought a selection of hoagies. All the good ones got grabbed so it was either this one or tuna. What would you have done in my place?
I have more guitars than I play now - a situation I don't like at all - but people keep making me buy new ones.
I have a Driskill on order and received a photo of the headstock of my embryonic Artinger this evening. And it looks good!

Valvetech is what I just ordered on Monday. :D Rob's wait is a bit shorter now. Should only take about 2 months. w00t! Then I'll be done with amps.

Ham roll and cup of tea.I tend to get fed up with some of the guitars I play, so just get rid of them when that happens. At the moment, I have 7 out of 8 I am happy with. The Custom 24 will probably disappear at some time. In fact comtemplating a swap for a 175 right now.

Went home for lunch and lunch was on the table, went home for dinner after work and my dinner was on the table. It was delicious.
I've got enough to keep me happy - and after I showed them to a amte the other day - it was like I had to apologise for not changing the strings on most. On some guitars, the strings last ages as they hardly get played. Probably time to thin them out- maybe 3 out 1 in.
Turkey, some brocolli and a diet coke.
I've almost reached a point of temporary stasis: I think if I could get my hands on a strat and a les paul I would be set... for a while.

Okay this is for Tuesday, so it was not the Wednesday ham sandwich that gave me food poisoning today.
Tuesday was a Polish from Costco.
I have pretty much reached that point. The guitars I have do everythng i'm looking for right now. I know eventually I'll acquire more, and maybe let go of others, but it will not be out of any quest for perfection or "the one".

Wendy's Classic Double, Diet Coke (so bad, but so good).
I hope I'm at a point of stasis because I'm tired of buying and selling guitars. A great Tele, Explorer or Firebird would be fun to have, but I don't need them. Sometimes I think all of this GAS stuff gets in the way of just making good music -- that when I'm searching for the perfect guitar (or amp, or pedal) that I'm really searching for something else. Lately I'm sick of pedals -- they don't sound as good as the guitar straight into the amp (I'm particularly dissatisfied with my overdrive pedals). I think it's time to simplify.
