Roast Beef sandwich with horseradish dressing, onion rings, and iced coffee.

Was musing over my next pedal acquisition, the pros and cons of GAS, the advantages of diversifying my sound rig.

Up for discussion at lunch was the use of a Ernie Ball Stereo Volume Pedal. Inputs from my Fulltone ChoralFlange would go through the A/B inputs of the EB, and A/B outputs into my Voodoo Lab amp selector. With the EB, I'd be able to use volume swells and pan between dirty and clean. Most useful for a piezo-equipped AT. (Coming soon!) Sort of a wishful what-if-can-I-make-it-sound-better question.

Me, today was leftover BBQ'd chicken breast and Bratwurst. Veggies, fruit, and Yogurt.

I like that Idea bob. May try it myself to pan between the Marshall and Z. Interesting.....

Leftover cheeseburger and potato salad, water.

You know that seems like such a versatile pedal for doing "weird" setups, I've thought of getting one several times and just never did. Panning between two amps set up basically the same would be such a good vibey-Hendrix thing...

Sesame chicken / brown rice / egg roll / and soup from New China. Yummy!!!

Like Stratmeister, I've used this particular pedal quite a bit in the recent past, but it's always been borrowed, never owned one. Before I used one, I used to think who would need one, since I always used my guitar's volume knob instead. Having used one now, I can definitely see the need/uses.

I did something similar with mine until one of the output jacks went bad, rendering it useless. I ran my wah, chorus, then into the Volume. Output 1 went to my Rat and Delay. Output 2 went straight to the amp. I could dial in just the right amount of OD for the song.

Oh well, I like my dual OD setup better anyway.

Lunch was a turkey/ham sammich and pretzels.

I use the Ernie Ball Volume pedal like its the end of the earth if I dont. I love it and use it contantly. I have been known to have the EBV and up to 8 expression pedals at one time (Roland EV5 times 8) to adjust ALL different things from WAH to octave changes to amount of individual effects. You can do some insane things with the TC Electronic G Force processor.

Sorry got a little off topic there....but anyways...I probably couldn't live without the EBV. I love it!

Bit late, however, Turkey baguette and a bottle of lucozade. Pedals are way too complicated for me.

Cauliflower cheese, carrots with garlic, wholemeal roll.

I love pedals, despite the fact that I love the dirty channel on my boogie and my OD sound from the Guvnor, still gatting GAS for other distortion/OD/boost pedals. Current contenders:

Seymour Duncan treble boost
Vox Cooltronics (one of the three, can't decide, want them all)
Digitech Distortion Factory
Crowther Hotcake
HAO Rumble Mod

and I love my Mini Qtron, but still looking at wah pedals, and the Line 6 Filter pedal.

At least my Xpression rackmount covers most bases for digital effects, and very good at it too.

Dave,
Check out the Fulltone Clyde wah if you're looking at wahs. Best wah I know of. P.S. Buy a new, not used one. Earlier ones had some switch issues.
