I posted this here, because the original discussion is in the guitars section, where it should be moved here.

I did a little detective work myself. I have some suspicions about DH but nothing definitive. I have a pretty good idea who DebtGuy is, though.Aleclee,

I am surprised to see one of the board's Moderators getting into this and showing that you are provoking as well as Dan (who we all know is an Instigator and probably deserved to be Banned)( I am 42 and have never been Banned, anywhere. Being banned is not something to be proud of, as I have read in over 7 posts by Dan)

I KNOW who DebtGuy is, There's no secret, if you talked to him or bought (2) guitar from him, you would know him as I do and many other members do. Since I am in his area, I chose to pick up my Guitars. He met e at his office and was really a good guy, the guitars were immaculate. The guy is an EBAY Powerseller with over 200 feedbacks and last time I checked his stats, he purchased over $50,000 in PRS's on EBAY in the past 6 months alone.
Send him an email, he always responds quickly and friendly with his name. I am registered on prsforums.com as well as here and I do not think that both boards should be fighting. It is a free country and anyone that has had a board, knows it is a lot of time and energy.

I saw Debtguy's post on TGP and yes, they were harsh, but I also saw Chiba's post of the guy's info and phone #, which was first? Chiba's was. You people are attacking a guy that made a board for your convenience and had his friend Debtguy, send you a notice (which I got) on EBay's message system. Big Deal. The Email I recieved said simply:

"Why not cross-list this or other PRS's on the PRSForums.com for sale page, you can also list your auction there for free.

Debtguy"

He never said, shut down your auction and go there, he suggested both and to me it did not seem like "Spam" but a general good idea.

Instead of spending so much time on figuring out who everyone is, why not spend that time and talk about guitars?

As far as the bickering and "Trace Routing" goes (that was in this same thread) you guys simply did not read Dragon's replies. He stated he owned the web marketing company, right in his post and him and his friend Debtguy (they are friends) Live and Work in Florida, he is not ED Roman from Las Vegas, be real. Even DG said in his posts on TGP that he site admin does the sites for his company that he works for. They must be good friends and? who cares? Really. I do not know Phil, personally and do not care if he use PRS King as his name.

I personally feel that in this day, anonymity on the internet is sometimes the best way. There are many reasons to hide your real identity when you use the Internet. You might not want to post messages to a newsgroup or message board and identify yourself to the whole world as the poster. Although everyone takes privacy in normal life for granted, trying to get the same level of privacy on the Internet (or even on your own computer) is a little less accepted, and sometimes a bit more complicated. I do not need my name plastered throughout the internet and within my right, choose ANONYMITY.

Coming to a conclusion, I do think that Aclee, being a Moderator stooped too low on his post. In the first Full Stable day of Birds and Moon, he was not interested in doing his duties as Moderator, but more adding to an attack. Quick News, Moderators are supposed to calm things down, not instigate them further. I do not think that after Phil redesigned the site (Very Nice, Has that Bark at the Moon - Ozzy thing going on) that this fighting and suspicions and provocatory nature of Aclee's and Dan's post, would be the right direction to go in.

Great Job with the site.

Let's try to enjoy this site, the prsforums.com site, the Gear Page's site and any other guitar boards that come up in the future's sites. There are too few boards that cover this broad topic range of guitars in general to fight about.

Very uncool to cover my post deliberately like that.

Look, I don't know what's going on between you & Donk, and I'm not trying to stir anything, BUT...

<nasty commentary removed>

Please leave me out of your battles with whomever it is you're battling with. Thank you.

Nothing going on over on this end either. I think I made my point. And Mr. Scary, I returned your email also.

Regardless of your reasons you seem intent on either creating an issue between two forums that did not previously exist or bringing the one that did exist from The Gear Page here to BAM. In either case it is unacceptable. Please feel free to post constructive comments under appropriate topical area titles. We do not want any part of what you appear to be selling as regards any issues between between various forums be they imaginary or real. Continued attempts to create issues between BAM and any other forum will not be received well at all.

Dave
