I just lost positions 9 and 10...

I just lost 80% of the volume from rotary positions
9 and 10 of my Standard 24. Seems to me that I
probably just lost continuity in the outside bridge coil
and am just hearing noise on the ground plane.
Or maybe a bad switch? It cut out in the middle of a set.

Any suggestions as to how I go about figuring this out?

I would check all of the solder connections from your bridge pickup into the rotary switch. Probably just need to redo one, those things happen. I'm sure somebody who's better at this stuff than me could tell you what lug.

Do you have a digital multimeter in order to measure the resistance of the pickup? The reading would tell you if the pickup went south or if it was something with the switch.

The bridge pickup white wire had a cold solder joint.
Repaired it, and it's now working fine.
