This was recorded as an AVI file on my IXUS 400 but it will give you a flavor.
Our keyboard play had a little moment in the intro:D and I just bluffed the solo but I've put this up so you can hear our singer.
He was reading the lyrics as he didn't know the song as well as he could have but this was our first get together with him.

Andy
playings great, although I can't quite make out the singer. Had to run the lo-fi option as my pc wouldn't play the hi-fi one. You can tell that he is new to the song. A couple of times it sounds as if he is straining too much, perhaps the wrong key for him, or it could be him just getting into it. You can tell there is a good voice there. Would like to hear him through a better recording. Looks as if it will be good. :dude:

There are times he seems fine, and othertimes where he's not even close to the note he's supposed to be hitting.
I wouldnt judge him on just this song, though, since he didn't know it. If he consistantly misses notes like that, even on songs he knows... I'd look for someone new.
Peace,
Aldwyn

It was just where he didn't know the song well enough. This just happened to be the only take I got of anything all day. I was really impressed with him and just wanted to share what I did manage to get.
Trust me, he can sing alright.:)
Not too shabby there! That is a hard song to sing.

I couldn't sing that with any conviction. Great site. The solo was great - nice squeels and tone.

In the first 60 seconds I thought "Wow, Sammy Hagar meets Toto" the singers voice sounds like a great scratchy Hagar voice. Killer song btw...very nice!
