Hey guy, and gals!!
It's time once more for my shameless plug of Frankie and the Actions! Why, you ask....because they RAWK!!!! The venue is California Inn, on Rte 1 in Laurel,
Md. Big room, big stage, big fun with drunks and other weirdos! (such as myself) Who's with me?? Jo?...Stellar...Wayne...roll call please!:D
I might even bring my Raul Peed Smash for Popeye to beat into pieces!!

Calling all local Maryland BaMmers!!!! Heres some directions!:
From Baltimore: 295-South to Rte. 32-West to
Rte. 1-South approx 2.5 miles on Right.
95-South to Rte. 32-East to Rte. 1-South approx 2.5 miles on Right.
From D.C.: 295-North to Rte. 32-West to
Rte. 1-South approx 2.5 miles on Right.
95-North to Rte. 32-East to Rte. 1-South approx 2.5 miles on Right.
The California Inn is at the intersection of Rte 1 and Whiskey Bottom Road.

I will be in as soon as I can leave a dinner with my fellow orthopaedic surgeons. I'm in DC for the academy meeting. I will try to get there around 10. I hope they are still playing by then.

The show should be from approx. 9:30-1:30, or something like that.

Allright, boys and girls...this is the last reminder! ( my timing has to be just right so that the boss doesn't bust me on the computer!:D )
The roads here in central Maryland are snow free, and the nightlife is ready to rev up!! Methinks we have: Jo, Dr's Pcr and Mintzer, Stellar, and myself!

There was a great BaM turnout!
Me, Carl W., Wayne M., RandyO, Jo, Stellar (who I didn't recognize from her avatar, which doesn't do her justice, btw...), Goober... am I missing anyone?
I never saw DCPCR, as I left in the middle of the 2nd set (I had an early (7:45am) OR time today).
Frankie's first set was great, altough his regular sound guy was absent and that probably was the reason it was hard to hear him in the mix. It was -much- better iduring the 2nd set! Frankie can flat out PLAY!
I do, however, have one issue...
Hit Me Baby One More Time???? :eek: Granted, it was a pretty cool arrangement, but DUDE! :D
Frankie's intro of Crazytrain/Black Dog/All Night Long/Crap! I forgot what else was in there!!! Was sweet! :dude:
Sorry that I couldn't stay later (or partake in a few drinks). Maybe next time...

I am now seeking a recording of a pop song to bastardize! I'm thinking either "Genie in a Bottle" by Christine Aguliera (sp.), or maybe, LALA by Ashlee Simpson! :D I might even have to find a tutu to wear!

Was a riot, the guitar smashing was a sure hit. Too bad most people in the crowd couldn't care if it was PRS or not, just smashing a guitar was shocking and cool enough for them!
At least I didn't miss that part!
