Go here and check it out. (http://www.mekagojira.net/files/forums/mp3/)

parts:
* 1977 Les Paul Custom w/Gibson P-94 pickups - no special aftermarket caps or anything, though I did replace the bridge volume pot last year
* 2004 Marshall 2061X Lead & Bass 20 handwired reissue - volumes dimed out and tones at about 6
* Marshall PB100 Power Brake to keep the volume reasonable while my kid was playing on the other side of the door (cuts out a tad of top end, hence the tones at about 6 to get it back)
* Sennheiser e609 mics on both speakers, about an inch off the grillcloth & aimed at where the dust cap meets the cone
* LEFT CHANNEL: Celestion Vintage 30 (65W, 16 ohm)
* RIGHT CHANNEL: Celestion (for Mesa) Black Shadow (90W, 8 ohm)
* Speaker cab - Aiken 2x12 combo enclosure - semi-open back, placed on a 'gramma' to stabilize things tone-wise
* No special preamps, I just jacked the mic cables into the front of my Digi001 and turned the gain up til they were just south of 0.0
* No EQ or compression outside of the amp

Approx. 3 min (and 3 megs), as follows:
* Neck pickup, volume on guitar rolled off - 'Sweet Home Alabama'
* Bridge pickup, volume on guitar rolled off - 'Ride On' (yes, I know I hit a bad note!)
* Bridge pickup, volume on guitar dimed - 'Oh Well'
* Neck pickup, volume on guitar dimed - little made-up chordal thing followed by some 12th position noodling
* Bridge pickup, still dimed - a little more noodling

Enjoy!

How large is your clip Chiba? I can't download here and home is dial-up, but I'd love to here it.

Tasty chops there, my fave was the neck pup dimed on the 12th, noodling.:dude:

Would be good if we could hear them at full bore:)

I also liked the "Oh Well" tone.

The cleans sounded real good as well.
