For all just getting started in soloing this is a good one. It's an a minor pentatonic with just five notes. The 8th and 10th frets on the high E and B string and the 9th fret on the G string. It's named after B.B King because he would play entire leads over just these five notes. It's a good way to learn the next shape too because it's right after the box shape in the fifth position that's the eaisest to remember. Just thought I'd share.

Just a little knowledge here.
All pentatonic scales are 5 notes, hence the name penta.
Most classic rock, blues and country solos are based around a pentatonic scale.
